My name is Aliza Ziv.
I come originally from Israel and my mother tongue is Hebrew.
I have lived in the Netherlands since 1987.
I graduated from the University of Amsterdam in "Semitic Languages and
Cultures".
In 1994 I was certified as a sworn translator of Hebrew by
the district court in Amsterdam and have worked since then as a professional translator. I am registered at the
Ministry of Justice (WBTB number: 2705).
Outside of certified translations to and from Dutch, I also translate
from English, do proof reading, edit texts and write quality reports on
translations and other texts. You can find more information about my work and experience in “translations”.
Please note:
it is required that all official documents for official organizations in
the Netherlands, such as the Immigration and Naturalisation Service, Municipalities, Tax Authorities or Ministries, are translated by a certified translator, who is registered in the "Register of
Sworn Interpreters and Translators"
of the Ministry of Justice
and has a WBTV number.
